No one can see even one
I do not understand how people can stand the weird Saas-Bahu soaps. Even seeing one episode is a great torture. They all contain the same ingredients; the treacherous plots, juvenile comedy, some stupid looking people and degrading it further they also have real poor performances.
In the era when more and more families are opting to be nuclear, these soaps provide all that is needed to enlarge the rift amongst the families. Viewer minds are becoming more and more scheming and polarized and they tend to doubt anyone and everyone.
Thankfully a survey said that the popularity of such soaps has decreased, this was obvious as it is really difficult to bear them. In a lighter vein it can be even used by police as a method for third degree torture… “No one can see even one!!!”

But I guess elder ppl like watching these serials not because they agree with the things being done in the serials but because when they have nothing to do at night time and this a real good way to pass time by keeping their brains in to the fridge.
Though,I had the power..I would definitely ban such serials !!

we do blame all these soaps but what triggered them and why do they get such high trp ratings.??
it is because a large number of people(read women) watch them.
also i beleive in banning obscenity from television.such crap serials can be let where they for people who wish to watch them.
lets not become the moral ambassadors for the whole nation...

I think elder ppl used to see but with all the vamps n sleepover with ur frnd's wife coming into it they also have stopped watching. (I m telling this frm my grandfather's exp.. not coz i watched :P)
Ekta Kapoor sucks.. but she is making fast cash n i luv tht.. ;)
